Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks an Associate Project Scheduler for Capital Projects in Chattanooga, TN, offering a hybrid work arrangement. You will develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 while collaborating with project management, engineering, and client teams.

Essential duties include critical path analysis, risk and contingency management, and providing regular schedule updates and deviations from the baseline.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling software.
• Three or more years of project scheduling experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and Access skills for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Implement project controls tools and methodology.
• Develop and support schedule requirements per client procedures.
• Perform critical path analysis and provide schedule insights.
• Support schedule contingency management and risk identification.
• Provide regular updates and report deviations from the baseline.
• Proactively manage schedule variances and communicate deviations.
• Support month-end closing and phase-gate processes.
• Produce look-ahead schedules and schedule reports.
• Assemble supporting documentation for team and client requests.
• Analyze data and build reports to support monitoring and decisions.
• Interface with project management and cost analysts for time-phased forecasts.
• Travel to client offices for coordination meetings as needed.
