Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks a Senior Project Scheduler for Capital Projects to develop and maintain detailed project schedules and monitor performance. You will interface with project management, client management, engineering, construction, and vendors using Primavera P6 across a hybrid in-office/remote setup.

Essentially, you will implement controls, analyze critical paths, manage risks, and provide regular updates while ensuring adherence to client procedures and reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software and project controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication across teams and clients.
• Minimum 5+ years of project experience with detail-oriented reporting.
• Post-secondary degree; pursuing advanced project certifications is a plus.
• Ability to interact with project management, engineering, and cost staff.
• Willing to engage with stakeholders to understand project needs and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Implement project controls tools and methodology.
• Develop and support project schedule requirements per client procedures.
• Perform critical path analysis and provide schedule insights.
• Support schedule contingency management and risk identification.
• Provide regular project updates and report deviations from baseline.
• Proactively manage schedule variances and investigate deviations.
