Job summary

Kyyba is seeking a Program Manager to lead hardware-focused programs in Long Beach, CA in a hybrid setup (4 days in office, 1 day remote). The role emphasizes coordinating design, development, validation, and launch activities with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in technical program management for hardware, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and strong communication skills. Automotive interiors/seat experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years of experience in technical program management, project engineering, or a similar role supporting hardware development (early-career candidates with strong internships or co-op experience are encouraged to apply).
• Solid understanding of the product development lifecycle (design, development, validation, integration, and launch).
• Familiarity with materials, manufacturing processes, and technologies commonly used in automotive interiors or seating.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities across teams and timelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Drive engineering teams to resolve issues identified in reviews, virtual builds, and physical events.
• Track and manage program deliverables while flagging potential incompatibilities or synergies across vehicle systems.
• Facilitate cross-functional decision-making with engineering, finance, and strategy stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools, and team execution.
