Job summary

HTC Global Services seeks a Technical Program Manager for automotive seating and interior systems in Long Beach, CA. Hybrid work arrangement with four days in the office.

You will coordinate cross-functional engineering activities and drive hardware development programs from concept through validation and production launch. The ideal candidate has a technical engineering background, strong project management skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while ensuring program schedules,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in technical program management or similar hardware development role.
• Solid understanding of the product development lifecycle (design through launch).
• Familiarity with materials, manufacturing processes, and technologies used in automotive interiors or seating.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across teams and timelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive complex engineering programs to SOP and beyond.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, finance, and strategy teams to define requirements, scope work, identify risks, and communicate status.
• Support full engineering product development lifecycle (concept through industrialization).
• Identify design issues and coordinate corrective actions to protect schedules and quality.
• Track deliverables, ensure system compatibility, and seek opportunities for integration.
• Coordinate with supply chain and suppliers for timely parts and build events.
• Prepare and facilitate meetings to support decision-making and mitigate risks.
• Communicate risks early and ensure mitigation plans are executed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in processes, tools, and team execution.
