Job summary

Connected Development is seeking a Project Manager to oversee customer development projects at our Auburn Hills, MI location. The role includes coordinating engineering teams, documenting work, and tracking budgets with some remote work options after training.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field and 5+ years of experience, plus strong writing, organizational, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required; degree in Electrical Engineering or related science/engineering preferred and five plus (5+) years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Strong written communication and training skills.
• Knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple departmental activities and set tracking goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of development projects to ensure outcomes meet customer needs.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to complete projects.
• Prepare documentation including statements of work and change orders.
• Provide updated schedules and track budget progress and expenditures.
• Use project management tools to drive project completion.
• Track monthly resource effort and expenditures for invoicing.
• May generate monthly invoices reflecting hours and expenses.
• Keep management informed of issues, projects, and deadlines with regular updates.
• Record time in the hourly tracking system for projects and duties.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
