Job summary

Generis Tek Inc is looking for a Project Controls Specialist (Scheduler) on a 2-year contract in Detroit, MI, with hybrid work arrangements. The role centers on developing, monitoring, and updating project estimates and schedules to enable efficient execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field plus 3 years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree in engineering, construction management, or related field plus 5 years.
• High school diploma or GED plus 7 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists project teams by developing, monitoring and updating estimates and schedules for efficient execution.
• Applies methods and templates to manage estimates/schedules and control changes.
• Maintains schedule progress, analyzes critical path, and prepares progress reports and forecasts for major activities.
• Ensures credibility of estimate/schedule data and supports time/cost claims.
• Participates in continuous improvement of estimating/scheduling processes and tools.
