Job summary

Johnson Service Group in Detroit is seeking an experienced Scheduler to develop and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Primavera P6. The role supports multiple project departments and requires strong scheduling discipline to keep milestones on track.

Hybrid work arrangement: three days in person and two days remote per week. Local candidates preferred, with duties including communicating timelines, tracking progress, and delivering dashboards to leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional scheduling experience, preferably on construction projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6.
• Experience developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules.
• Experience in utilities and/or EPC projects strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of construction planning, scheduling, progress measurement, and schedule controls.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules and establish approved schedule baselines.
• Develop and manage integrated master schedules across multiple project departments and disciplines.
• Communicate project timelines, milestones, and critical activities to all relevant departments and stakeholders.
• Monitor and control project schedules to ensure timely completion of activities and milestones.
• Perform regular schedule updates, progress tracking, and variance analysis.
• Develop/ Maintain schedule metrics, dashboards, and management reports to communicate project status and trends.
• Identify schedule risks, delays, and potential impacts, and work with project teams to develop recovery strategies.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and other project functions to maintain schedule alignment.
