Stratus is seeking a Project Accountant in Pittsburgh to manage the financial performance of projects from setup to close, partnering with Project Managers to ensure contract terms and invoicing align with policy.

Responsibilities include analytics, budget control in Deltek Vision, revenue recognition under GAAP/ASC 606, monthly reporting, and supporting audits. A Bachelor’s in finance or related field and 3–5 years of project accounting are required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of project accounting experience, preferably in an A/E, professional services, or project-based environment.
• Understanding of GAAP/ASC 606 and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems commonly used in A/E firms (e.g., Deltek Vision/VantagePoint, Oracle, Procore, or similar) and MS Office Suite (Excel).

Aufgaben

• Perform data analytics to monitor project performance and provide high level comments regarding the financial status of projects.
• Coordinate completion of accurate and timely project setups with Project Managers/Project Controllers to ensure project compliance with contract terms and company policy.
• Monitor and address project budget maintenance within Deltek Vision and incorporate project change orders per policy.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP/ASC 606 and company policies.
• Monthly reporting to the Project Accounting Lead with detailed comments on project status.
