Job summary

Stratus is seeking a Project Accountant to oversee financial performance across project lifecycles. You will partner with Project Managers to ensure proper setup, budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, and closeout in line with contracts and company policy.

You will monitor project budgets, perform analytics, support audits, and maintain accurate financial records within a collaborative, hybrid-work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of project accounting experience in A/E or professional services.
• Understanding of GAAP/ASC 606 and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Deltek Vision/VantagePoint, Oracle, Procore and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage project financials and analytics to monitor performance.
• Ensure accurate project setups and contract compliance.
• Monitor budgets within Deltek Vision and process change orders.
• Maintain revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP/ASC 606.
• Support audits and financial reporting for projects.
