Job summary

Brown University is seeking a Program Manager of Peer Tutoring to lead the peer tutoring program within the Sheridan Center for Teaching and Learning. The role oversees a team of about 130 undergraduate tutors and supports over 2,000 students across fall, spring, and summer sessions.

You will partner with STEM Hub and Sheridan staff to promote learning, assess metrics, and drive improvements across the undergraduate curriculum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2-3 years of experience supporting academic programs in a university setting.
• Ability to support a diverse community and work with multiple teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of the Peer Tutoring Program.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of up to 130 tutors.
• Design and implement professional development for tutors.
• Create opportunities for tutors to advance leadership and responsibilities.
• Collaborate with the Associate Director to set goals and priorities for the program.
