Job summary

Serco is seeking a Program Finance Analyst to join our fast-paced team in a hybrid role based out of San Diego, CA, with potential for telework. You will handle full life-cycle program finances, including cost, schedule and funding planning, EACs, and ad hoc reporting.

The ideal candidate has strong Excel skills, experience with financial systems and data warehouses, and a collaborative mindset to support multiple projects under GAAP/IFRS. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in program finance.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Familiarity with GAAP/IFRS and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring and analysis support to Program Managers including WBS, BOEs and time-phased budgets/EACs.
• Support accounts receivable and billing processes as required.
• Monitor billing status and unbilled issues; resolve with Contracts, Accounting and PMO.
• Oversee preparation of subcontractor and vendor accruals per GAAP/IFRS and internal policies.
• Support monthly business rhythms of program and finance organizations; participate in reviews.
• Complete finance inputs for project setup and revenue recognition per contractual terms.
• Liaise between operations and administrative support on financial issues.
• Interface with subcontractors, vendors, and customers as required.
