Job summary

Serco is seeking a Program Finance Analyst to join our fast-paced team and manage full life-cycle program finances, including cost, schedule and funding planning and EAC development.

The role requires strong Excel skills, knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, and the ability to work across contracts while coordinating with PMO, Contracts and Accounting. Hybrid work from our San Diego, CA office with potential telework.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of government contracting regulations and accounting/finance principles.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring and analysis support to Program Managers including WBS, BOEs and development of time-phased budgets/EACs.
• Support accounts receivable during billing processing and invoice backup when required.
• Monitor billing status and unbilled issues with Contracts, Accounting and PMO to resolve issues.
• Oversee subcontractor and vendor accruals per GAAP/IFRS and internal policies.
• Support monthly business rhythms of both the program and finance organizations.
• Administer program control in accordance with accounting principles and policies.
• Complete finance inputs for project set up and revenue recognition per contractual terms.
• Liaison between operations and other administrative support organizations on financial issues.
• Interfaces with subcontractors, vendors, and customers as required.
