Job summary

WorldStrides, a global leader in educational travel, seeks a Product Engineer who bridges product management and development. You will partner with operations, sales, marketing, finance and IT to identify high-leverage problems, prototype AI-assisted solutions, and hand them to engineering for scale.

You own outcomes, not tickets, and design for production with DevOps practices. Expect to embed with teams, run pilots, measure outcomes, and iterate based on evidence while enabling a broader

Qualifications

• Strong customer focus and insights-driven prioritization.
• 1-3 years building software, products, or automations with ownership of outcomes.
• Ability to build full-stack: frontend and backend integration.
• Experience running discovery with stakeholders or users and translating into working product.
• AI-assisted development fluency: familiarity with AI tooling and latest advancements.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to explain tradeoffs to leaders and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Embed with stakeholders across lines of business to understand how work gets done and identify opportunities.
• Frame and qualify opportunities for impact, then quantify the prize in terms of revenue, growth, or cost savings.
• Build the case for work and pressure-test with finance and product partners.
• Design and build proof-of-concept and pilot deployments with working software.
• Use AI-assisted development to move fast and connect prototypes to systems of record.
• Handoff prototypes to IT for production and align with DevOps practices.
