Job summary

Referment is seeking an engineering-oriented AI product professional to turn loosely defined business problems into prototypes, internal tools and lightweight products. This hands-on role sits at the boundary of product management and engineering, collaborating with internal leads to frame opportunities and demonstrate value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in product or AI tech.
• Experience with engineering teams and building workflow products.
• Hands-on coding or close delivery experience with developers.
• Experience turning ambiguous prompts into scoped plans.

Responsibilities

• Translate business pain points into scoped technical solution paths.
• Prototype with LLM APIs, orchestration frameworks, vector databases and open-source components.
• Build simple user-facing interfaces to demonstrate product viability.
• Collaborate with engineers or vendors to turn prototypes into MVPs.
• Apply AI to internal tools and workflow improvements.
