Job summary

WorldStrides seeks a Product Engineer to uncover high-leverage problems across the business, prototype AI-assisted solutions, and hand them to engineering for scale. They are a hybrid explorer embedded with operations, sales, marketing, finance, support, academics, and more, owning outcomes rather than tickets.

You will move fast, design proof-of-concepts, pilots, and production-ready solutions, collaborating across teams, with a strong emphasis on customer value, measurable impact, and durable

Qualifications

• Front-end: React, modern JS/TypeScript, responsive UI.
• Back-end & data: API design and integration, SQL, relational data modeling; reading/writing to systems of record under governance.
• AI-assisted build: coding agents and AI development tools; LLM application patterns including prompting, RAG, tool/agent orchestration, and eval design.
• Engineering hygiene: trunk-based development, pull requests and peer review, secrets kept out of source control, SSO/AD-based identity.
• Our environment is Microsoft-ecosystem aligned, including SSO/AD for auth, Azure DevOps Git for source control, Dynamics Dataverse, and .NET as the production handoff languages.

Responsibilities

• Embed with stakeholders across lines of business to identify opportunities and unlock value across operations, sales, marketing, finance, and more.
• Prototype AI-assisted solutions and hand them off to engineering for production scale.
• Design and build proof-of-concept and pilots with working software, not slides.
• Partner with IT to graduate prototypes to production and integrate with DevOps and SDLC.
• Surface patterns and insights from live projects to shape product and platform roadmaps.
• Collaborate across leadership to align priorities and deliver measurable impact.
