Thuma is seeking a Product Development Manager in San Francisco to lead end-to-end product development from concept to production readiness. You will partner with Design, Sourcing, Merchandising, and external manufacturers to ensure high-quality products that align with brand, cost, and schedule goals.

You will own development timelines, support prototyping, and drive continuous improvements in materials and processes while collaborating across global partners.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with CAD software and ability to review technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of furniture materials, construction, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept through commercialization.
• Collaborate with Design to maintain brand intent, quality, and cost targets.
• Coordinate with Sourcing to engage manufacturing partners and manage timelines.
• Support prototyping and iteration cycles to refine design and materials.
• Manage vendor communications and ensure readiness for production.
• Identify opportunities to improve development processes and tools.
• Assist with regulatory and quality standards compliance.
