Job summary

UT Health San Antonio is seeking a Sponsored Programs Support Center Specialist to handle routine pre-award administration and assist faculty with grant lifecycle tasks. You will prepare research budgets, coordinate proposals, and ensure timeliness and accuracy in submissions.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, customer service, and collaboration with the Office of Sponsored Programs. Hybrid in San Antonio, with preference for local candidates.

Qualifications

• Zero to four years of research administration, grant proposal, and budgeting experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• With a high school diploma, four years of experience must supplement education.
• CRA and CPRA certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist faculty with seeking funding opportunities and preparing proposals.
• Coordinate budgets, proposal routing, and sponsor data for review.
• Ensure budgets are allowable and accurate per sponsor and institutional guidelines.
• Enter proposals into ERMS Grants or other submission systems as required.
• Support PIs in understanding sponsored program administration and policies.
