Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience in sponsored programs, research administration, grants administration, or related fields.
• Experience with pre-award proposals, budgets, and sponsor requirements is required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of federal/state regulations and institutional policies governing sponsored programs.

Responsibilities

• Provides intermediate pre-award support for sponsored project proposals.
• Reviews funding opportunity announcements and develops budgets, budget justifications, and subrecipient documentation.
• Coordinates complex, multi-investigator proposals and tracks deliverables to ensure timely submissions.
• Performs compliance review of proposals and resolves issues related to regulations, conflicts of interest, export controls, and human/animal subjects.
• Supports faculty through consultation, training, and resource development on sponsored project administration.
