• Bachelor’s degree required; four years of related university or business environment experience in budgets, project management, or proposal administration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary pre-award contact for assigned PIs, departments, colleges, or research units.
• Guide investigators through the full proposal process from opportunity identification to sponsor submission.
• Review sponsor guidelines and communications; ensure timelines, budgets, and required components are complete and compliant.
• Develop and manage proposal timelines, checklists, and submission plans with internal partners.
• Coordinate internal routing, certifications, and supporting documentation for proposal submission.
• Maintain proposal records in institutional systems and support continuous improvement of pre-award processes.
