Qualifications

• Undergraduate student at a 4-year college
• Preferred major of Electrical Engineering
• Course work in power systems (e.g., power system analysis, electrical machines, power electronics, renewable energy systems, energy markets & policy)
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Interest in Renewable Energy Industry
• Curiosity
• Self-starter
• Strong written and organizational skills
• Cover letter highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with transmission prospecting by analyzing grid maps, system data, and available capacity
• Use tools such as TARA, PSSE, Google Earth, and Landgate to evaluate potential project locations
• Compile and organize transmission and land data to support development decisions
• Conduct research on transmission planning studies, queue positions, and system upgrades
• Prepare summaries, maps, and visuals to communicate findings to the development team
• Participate in team meetings and present progress on assigned tasks
• Document methodologies and results to ensure knowledge transfer and repeatability
