Job summary

Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana seeks a Manager of Population Health and Quality Performance in Okemos, MI. This hybrid role leads the development and evaluation of population health outreach, care coordination, and clinical quality improvement initiatives to improve oral health outcomes and increase benefit utilization.

You will supervise staff, partner with data teams, and drive health equity initiatives while aligning with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene, public health, health education, health administration, or related field.
• Three years of experience in dental hygiene, public health, population health, outreach, care coordination, community health, or related healthcare programs.
• Two years of leadership experience. A quality professional certification (CPHQ or HCQM) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of population health and quality strategies to improve access, preventive service utilization, health equity, and oral health outcomes.
• Analyzes quality and utilization data to identify trends, disparities, and priorities, and sets outreach and quality improvement goals.
• Oversees care coordination and quality performance staff, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Develops and monitors outreach policies, procedures, standards, and best practices for program effectiveness.
• Collaborates with data analysis team to define metrics, evaluate performance, and identify improvements.
