Job summary

Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana is seeking an Organizational Development Specialist in Okemos, MI to drive people and change initiatives across the enterprise. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, business administration, communications, or a related field.
• Five years of experience in HR, organizational development, learning and development, employee engagement, change management, training, or project coordination.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; analytical abilities; and ability to coordinate multiple assignments with competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Advances assigned organizational development programs, tools, and resources within established objectives and practices.
• Coordinates workplans, milestones, documentation, and follow-up activities for assigned initiatives with moderate independence.
• Evaluates routine to moderately complex stakeholder needs and recommends practical development, engagement, change, or organizational effectiveness solutions.
• Creates communications, presentations, job aids, and related materials to support program objectives.
• Conducts employee and industry survey activities by coordinating timelines, gathering data, maintaining records, and preparing routine summaries.
• Interprets training content, survey results, and program feedback to identify common themes and recommend targeted improvements.
• Coordinates curriculum planning, attendee management, completion tracking, and development resources with cross-functional partners.
• Applies organizational development practices to employee engagement and change activities.
• Maintains program records, reports, tools, and materials to support accurate administration and consistent execution.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.
