Jacobs is seeking a high-energy Piping Engineer to join the Building Mechanical team. You will design state-of-the-art piping systems for industrial and commercial facilities, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

You will mentor junior staff, perform piping design calculations, create P&IDs, and ensure compliance with codes. Travel to field sites up to 10% and occasional collaboration with global offices is expected.

Formación

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, required.
• 8+ years in piping design for industrial/commercial facilities.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Field/site visits and travel up to 10%.

Responsabilidades

• Knowledges of piping codes and standards for design projects.
• Develop piping systems concepts and sizing calculations.
• Create P&IDs and Block Flow Diagrams; specify equipment.
• Lead design team within piping discipline; mentor junior staff.
