Jacobs is seeking a Piping Engineer to join our Building Mechanical team. You’ll design state-of-the-art industrial facilities, coordinate with project teams, and mentor junior staff. You will perform piping engineering under supervision, review drawings, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

The role offers hybrid work across Jacobs locations with travel to client sites as needed, and a strong emphasis on collaboration, growth, and delivering value to clients.

Qualifikationen

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 8+ years’ piping design experience for industrial/commercial facilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Field/site visits may be required (climb ladders).
• Domestic travel ~10% expected.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.

Aufgaben

• Apply piping discipline procedures and codes to design projects.
• Perform piping system concept development and sizing calculations.
• Create P&ID diagrams and block flow diagrams.
• Select equipment and generate system specifications.
• Coordinate with project teams and other disciplines (architectural, structural, electrical, process).
• Lead a design team within piping discipline and manage scope, schedule, and budget.
