Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a high-energy Piping Engineer to join our Building Mechanical team. You will perform mechanical/piping engineering, coordinate design and drafting, monitor progress, and collaborate with clients locally.

You’ll lead piping tasks and support cross-office teams on varied industrial facilities. Qualified candidates have a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 8+ years in piping design, and ability to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years’ piping design experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel (10% est.).

Responsibilities

• Perform piping discipline design and apply relevant codes to projects.
• Develop piping systems concept development and sizing calculations.
• Create P&IDs and equipment specifications.
• Lead a design team within the piping discipline and manage scope and budget.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams and coordinates with local/remote offices.
