Job summary

Jacobs seeks a high-energy Piping Engineer to join our Building Mechanical team and help deliver state-of-the-art industrial facility designs. You will lead piping discipline tasks, review drawings, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.

This role offers hybrid work from Jacobs offices and projects nationwide, with opportunities to mentor junior engineers, perform design calculations, and support travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 8+ years piping design experience for industrial facilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to perform field/site visits and climb ladders.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead piping discipline tasks and coordinate with project team.
• Perform piping design calculations including sizing.
• Create P&IDs and equipment specifications.
• Check drawings and mentor junior staff.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and offices.
