Jacobs is seeking a Piping Engineer for our Building Mechanical team to deliver state-of-the-art industrial facility designs. You will perform mechanical/piping engineering under supervision, coordinate piping tasks, monitor progress, and collaborate with design teams at Jacobs locations.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of piping design experience, excellent communication, and a willingness to travel about 10%.

Formación

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of piping design experience in industrial/commercial facilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel (approx. 10%).
• Ability to lead a design team and collaborate remotely.

Responsabilidades

• Perform piping systems concept development and calculations.
• Create P&ID’s and Block Flow Diagrams and select equipment.
• Coordinate with project team members, contractors, and other disciplines.
• Lead design work within the piping discipline, managing scope, schedule and budget.
• Mentor junior staff and support work across offices and countries.
