Jacobs is seeking a Piping Engineer for its Building Mechanical group. The role supports state-of-the-art industrial facilities across markets including manufacturing and data centers. You will design, size piping systems, and prepare P&IDs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

This hybrid position allows work from Jacobs locations with travel as needed. Candidates should have a BS in Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years in piping design for industrial/commercial facilities.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel (~10%).
• Ability to lead piping discipline tasks within a project team.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Experience with industrial and commercial piping design.

Responsabilités

• Perform mechanical/piping engineering under supervision of a senior PM.
• Coordinate piping discipline tasks with design/drafting teams.
• Develop piping system concepts and perform sizing calculations.
• Create P&IDs and Equipment selections.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with multi-office teams.
