Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Piping Designer in the United States to work on state-of-the-art industrial and pharmaceutical facilities. You will be responsible for scheduling and ensuring technical quality of routine engineering tasks while collaborating with a multi-discipline team.

You will review vendor drawings, develop 3D models, and mentor junior staff, contributing your expertise to drive project success and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of piping design experience.
• Ability to draft, design and redline P&IDs/AF&IDs.
• Hexagon and/or Autodesk software knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing lists and progressing reports from design databases (Revit/P3D/S3D).
• Experience in Process/Piping design in Pharma, Biotech or Oil & Gas industries preferred.
• Develop 3D models and data software for process/mechanical systems and modify designs/drawings.
• Generate reports from design software.
• Perform routine tasks under supervision using defined standards.
• Report to department manager and project leads.
