Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Plumbing Designer for positions across multiple offices, including Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Conshohocken, and Cary. You will independently perform plumbing designs for advanced facilities projects, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and participate in site visits during construction to verify conditions.

The role emphasizes collaboration, strong communication, and high attention to detail to deliver world-class infrastructure for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related technical discipline; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 10+ years of practical application experience of plumbing design, including waste and vent, domestic hot and cold water, and storm water related to building systems.
• At least 10 years of Revit design experience
• General working knowledge of plumbing codes
• An understanding of clash detection, clash resolution and building system coordination

Responsibilities

• Independently perform plumbing design assignments with general technical guidance on unusual or complex problems.
• Create plumbing designs for construction.
• Occasionally be on project sites to gather existing plumbing conditions and during construction.
• Coordinate work activities with other design and engineering professionals and project management.
