Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years’ experience in piping design for industrial and commercial facilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel (estimated travel time is 10%).

Responsibilities

• Apply piping discipline procedures and relevant codes to design projects.
• Develop piping system concepts and perform sizing calculations.
• Create P&IDs and Block Flow Diagrams; coordinate with project team and clients.
• Perform equipment selections and prepare system/equipment specifications.
• Lead a design team within piping; monitor scope, schedule and budget.
• Mentor junior staff and perform QA reviews of drawings.
