Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an energetic Plumbing Designer for our fast-moving Data Center market. You will design plumbing/utility packages and prepare construction drawings for DWV, potable water, process drains, storm drains, and domestic water systems.

You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality while coordinating with a multi-discipline team to establish a plumbing design basis and develop the package. Hybrid work policy supports collaboration and client delivery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in the design of plumbing systems for industrial facilities.
• Experience generating design documents adhering to CAD standards for plumbing design packages within an A&E firm.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to design of plumbing systems.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work well within a dynamic team environment with multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of Plumbing systems for data center projects.
• Development of conceptual and final construction documents, including Isometrics, Riser Diagrams, details, and fixture schedules.
• Coordination with other disciplines and Plumbing Engineers; development of plumbing design package.
• Prepare construction package drawings for DWV, potable water, process drains, storm drains, and domestic water systems.
