Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Plumbing Designer to deliver plumbing and utility design packages for our data center clients. You’ll design domestic water, sanitary waste and vent systems, develop Isometrics and Riser Diagrams, and prepare construction documents with a focus on accuracy and coordination with other disciplines.

Bring at least 6 years of industrial plumbing design experience, proficiency in Revit, and strong CAD standards knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of plumbing design experience in industrial facilities.
• Proficiency with CAD standards for plumbing design packages in an A&E firm.
• Knowledge of codes and standards related to plumbing design.
• Effective communication within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of plumbing systems for data centers.
• Develop conceptual and final design documents including Isometrics, Riser Diagrams, fixture schedules.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and develop plumbing design packages.
• Prepare construction documents for domestic water, sanitary waste and vent, etc.
