Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an energetic Plumbing Designer to join our Mechanical/Plumbing Data Center team. You will design plumbing/utility packages for data center clients, prepare construction package drawings for DWV, potable water, process drains, storm drains, and domestic water systems, and coordinate with multiple disciplines.

You’ll be responsible for schedule and technical quality, maintain design basis, and ensure client expectations are met.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience designing plumbing systems for industrial facilities.
• Experience generating design documents adhering to CAD standards for plumbing design packages within an A&E firm.
• Trade School or Associates Degree.
• Proficiency in Revit.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of Plumbing systems for data centers.
• Development of conceptual and preliminary design documents with sizing calculations, isometrics, riser diagrams, details, fixtures schedules, and general arrangements.
• Development of final construction documents for domestic water, sanitary waste and vent, etc.
• Coordinate with other disciplines.
