Job summary

The Cigna Group's Freedom Fertility division seeks a Pharmacy Processing Technician in a hybrid Waltham, MA role. You will process medications, manage order details with patients, insurers, and teams, and ensure accurate records and timely communication.

Training starts virtual; post-training MA residents work onsite 3 days and from home 2 days weekly, with some rotating Saturdays and potential MA, ME, NH locations. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of pharmacy technician work experience.
• Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License required by state laws; national certification strongly preferred.
• General computer, data entry, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process medications and pharmacy orders and communicate with patients as needed.
• Record and fill prescriptions and orders to keep accurate records.
• Answer questions and respond to requests from facility managers and teammates; refer to a pharmacist when needed.
• Follow rules, procedures, and safety guidelines to keep the pharmacy clean and safe.
• Complete record-keeping and other administrative tasks assigned by a pharmacist or facility manager.
• Handle patient calls as part of daily duties.
