Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Pharmacy Processing Technician for Freedom Fertility, Evernorth’s fertility pharmacy, in Newburyport, MA. After virtual training, MA residents follow a hybrid schedule (onsite 3 days, remote 2 days); Maine and New Hampshire residents work onsite 5 days.

You’ll process medication orders, coordinate with patients and insurers, and maintain accurate records while supporting pharmacy services under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of pharmacy technician work experience
• Valid Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License required by state laws.
• National certification strongly preferred.
• General computer, data entry, and Microsoft Office skills
• Basic math skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication skills

Responsibilities

• Process medications and orders, interact with insurance companies and patients
• Record and fill prescriptions and orders with accuracy
• Answer questions and route inquiries to a pharmacist when needed
• Follow safety guidelines to maintain a clean, compliant workspace
• Complete administrative tasks as assigned by a pharmacist or supervisor
• Handle patient calls professionally
