Job summary

Cigna Health and Life Insurance Company, in cooperation with Freedom Fertility, Evernorth’s fertility pharmacy, is seeking a Pharmacy Processing Technician in the Waltham, MA area. After a virtual training period, MA residents will work a hybrid schedule onsite 3 days and from home 2 days per week, while MAINE and New Hampshire residents will be onsite 5 days a week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License required.
• National certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and math skills.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Process medications and communicate with patients and insurers as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient prescription records and orders.
• Field questions from facilities and teammates, escalating to a pharmacist when needed.
• Follow safety guidelines to keep the pharmacy clean and compliant.
• Complete record-keeping and other admin tasks as directed by a pharmacist or manager.
• Handle patient calls with professionalism and empathy.
