Job summary

Freedom Fertility Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services and part of The Cigna Group, seeks Pharmacy Processing Technicians in Massachusetts. The role is hybrid with onsite work at Newburyport, MA.

Training leads to some remote work, and the schedule includes mornings/evenings with rotating shifts. You will process medications, liaise with insurers, handle patient communications, and maintain meticulous records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or GED.
• 1+ year of Pharmacy Technician work experience.
• Valid MA Pharmacy technician license required by state laws. (National certification strongly preferred)
• Microsoft Office proficiency and data entry skills.
• Basic math skills (addition/subtraction/multiplication).
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process medications and liaise with insurance companies as needed.
• Maintain records by recording and filing prescriptions and orders.
• Respond to facility managers and co-workers and refer inquiries to Pharmacists.
• Comply with rules, regulations and procedures to maintain a safe pharmacy.
• Undertake administrative tasks as assigned by Pharmacist or manager.
• Handle patient calls when required.
