Job summary

Freedom Fertility Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, part of The Cigna Group, is hiring a Pharmacy Processing Technician in Newburyport, MA. This hybrid role requires onsite work with occasional remote days and involves processing medications, ensuring timely shipments, and liaising with insurers.

You will support pharmacists, maintain prescription records, and communicate with patients and facility managers while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of Pharmacy Technician work experience.
• Valid MA Pharmacy Technician license required by state laws. (National certification strongly preferred)
• Microsoft Office proficiency and data entry skills.
• Basic math skills (addition/subtraction/multiplication).
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process medications and liaise with insurance companies and patients.
• Maintain records by recording and filing prescriptions and orders.
• Answer questions and refer inquiries to Pharmacists as needed.
• Comply with rules and procedures to maintain a safe pharmacy.
• Undertake administrative tasks as assigned by a Pharmacist or manager.
• Handle patient calls as needed.
