Pediatric Associates seeks a friendly Medical Receptionist for our Sebring office. You will greet patients, collect co-pays, and schedule follow-ups, ensuring a smooth, patient-centered experience.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a medical office, strong phone etiquette, and basic computer/medical terminology knowledge. A valid driver’s license is required. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturday half-days.

Qualifikationen

• A minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Proficient grammar, spelling, and verbal skills.
• Ability to learn Pediatric Associates procedures and protocols.

Aufgaben

• Check-in patients upon arrival, update demographics and insurance information, collect co-pays and balances, obtain signatures and health questionnaires.
• Check out patients, collect balances, provide visit summaries, referral information, and follow-up appointments.
• Verify patient insurance and contact patients if insurance is inactive or PCP is not appropriate.
• Post-patient charges and payments; complete charge and payment reconciliation.
• Scan and upload documents through the Document Management system.
• Sort and deliver mail and PA documents; maintain a clean work area and patient waiting area.
• Participate in staff and educational meetings.
