Job summary

Pediatric Associates in Sebring, FL is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist who will greet patients, collect co-pays, verify insurance, and guide families through check-in. You will discharge patients, provide follow-up information, and support staff in a fast-paced pediatric office setting. Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm, every other Saturday 8:00 am–12:00 pm. Location: Sebring.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a medical office setting.

• Ability to learn Pediatric Associates procedures and policies.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients, update demographics and insurance, collect co-pays.
• Check-out patients and provide visit summaries and referrals.
• Verify insurance eligibility.
• Post charges and reconcile payments.
• Scan and upload documents.
• Sort mail and maintain waiting area.
• Participate in staff meetings.
