Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an Engineering Manager for Protection, Control & Automation (PCA) in the United States. Hybrid work at a Schneider Electric HUB/COE location.

Lead a team of engineers and commissioning specialists on protection, control, and automation projects, covering relays, PLCs, HMI, SCADA, and networked systems. The role emphasizes resource planning, project execution, team development, and P&L oversight to meet revenue and margin targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years engineering experience.
• 5+ years people management experience.
• Leadership and management skills including coaching and mentoring.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and enable cross-functional collaboration.
• Sales experience is a plus.
• Experience in project management: scheduling, budgeting, risk & opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop an engineering resource plan aligned with backlog and forecasts.
• Collaborate with Sales to understand forecasts and opportunities.
• Ensure high-quality project outputs and on-time delivery.
• Assign resources, participate in handoff meetings, and schedule with PMs.
• Manage escalations and ensure SE safety policies.
• Lead team meetings, set objectives, and drive performance reviews.
• Support career development and coaching for team members.
• Co-own P&L and monitor revenue and margins.
• Collaborate across SE entities for cross-functional alignment.
