Job summary

Schneider Electric in the United States is seeking an Engineering Manager for Protection, Control & Automation (PCA). Hybrid schedule based in one of Schneider Electric’s HUB or COE locations, leading a team of engineers and commissioning specialists to deliver protection, control, and automation projects.

You will oversee resource planning, project execution, and team development, mentor engineers, manage P&L with other leaders, and collaborate with Sales and Finance for successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities.
• Experience with Protection Relays, PLC, HMI, SCADA preferred.
• Understanding of P&L, ROI, and financial impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering resource planning and forecasting with Sales for key opportunities.
• Ensure high-quality project outputs delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Manage team performance, coaching, mentoring, and evaluations.
• Own P&L with other team leaders, monitor WIP and financials.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with SE entities and stakeholders.
• Promote safety, continuous improvement, and engineering standards.
