Job summary

Schneider Electric is hiring a Field Service Engineer to deploy PCA systems at customer sites in the United States, including data centers, oil & gas, healthcare, and manufacturing. You will install, upgrade, customize, and integrate PCA software, and perform start-up and troubleshooting of Schneider Electric and 3rd party relays, networking, and SCADA solutions.

Travel is required regionally (10–20% overnight), with possible 2nd shift work.

Qualifications

Associate degree or trade/vocational certification or military training in electrical disciplines.
Read blueprints/schematics and understand AC/DC power and components.
2+ years in field service repair with electrical equipment and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead PCA system deployments at customer sites across varied industries.
Collaborate with contractors and end-users in construction environments.
Verify pre-requisites for FAT/SAT; install, upgrade, and integrate PCA software.
Start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting Schneider Electric and 3rd party relays, networking and SCADA.
Provide customer training and perform device communication troubleshooting.
Travel daily to customer sites within a region; 10–20% overnight travel; some 2nd shift work.
