Job summary

Schneider Electric in the United States is seeking an Engineering Manager for Protection, Control & Automation (PCA) to lead engineers and specialists in delivering protection, control, and automation projects. The role requires strong leadership, planning, and cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid setup based at a Schneider Electric hub/COE location.

The candidate will drive resource planning, project execution, and team development, while ensuring safety, quality, and alignment with SE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching and performance management skills.
• Experience with protection, control and automation systems.
• Familiarity with protection relays, PLCs, HMI and SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand backlog evolution and proactively plan resource needs.
• Collaborate with Sales to interpret forecasts and opportunities.
• Review resource allocation to balance workload and utilization.
• Deliver high-quality project outputs on time.
• Lead team meetings, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Manage P&L with team leaders and support revenue acceleration.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across SE entities.
