Job summary

Schneider Electric in the United States is seeking an Engineering Manager for Protection, Control & Automation (PCA). The role leads a team of engineers and commissioning specialists to deliver protection, control, and automation projects, leveraging relays, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and networked devices.

You will partner with Sales to understand forecasts, plan resources, and drive timely project delivery, while maintaining safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Leadership & Management skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand backlog evolution and forecasts to proactively and efficiently plan resource needs.
• Collaborate with Sales to understand forecasts, key opportunities, and strategic accounts.
• Regularly review resource allocation to ensure an optimal balance between workload and utilization.
• Ensure the team delivers high-quality project outputs in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assign resources to new projects and participate in project handoff meetings.
• Work with Project Managers on scheduling and attend project review meetings.
• Manage escalations and ensure adherence to safety policies.
