Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a field service professional to deploy Protection, Controls and Automation (PCA) systems at customer sites across industries including data centers, oil and gas, healthcare, and manufacturing.

You will lead PCA software installation, testing, commissioning, and integration, travel regionally with occasional overnight stays, and train customers while upholding strict safety practices.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in electrical disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and understand AC/DC systems.
• 2+ years field service with electrical equipment and power concepts.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites with 10% overnight travel.
• Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of PCA systems at customer sites across multiple industries.
• Collaborate with contractors and end-users in construction environments.
• Verify prerequisites for FAT and SAT.
• Install, upgrade, customize, and integrate PCA software.
• Start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting relays, networking, and SCADA solutions.
• Provide customer training and device communication troubleshooting.
• Travel daily within region with ~10% overnight travel.
• Document as-built system and define operation requirements.
• Some 2nd shift work possible.
