Mass General Brigham Incorporated seeks an experienced payroll professional to support weekly and monthly payroll processing for all companies in Workday. The role requires a strong payroll background, analytical mindset, and a mature communication style.

The ideal candidate balances production tasks with employee inquiries in a collaborative, hybrid environment. You will handle retro payments, tax calculations, and adjustments, with ongoing service to internal customers and close coordination

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred; equivalent experience may be accepted
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) and/or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred
• 3+ years of payroll processing experience with increasing responsibility
• Experience with Workday and payroll tax concepts a plus

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end payroll processing for all companies in Workday.
• Audit and review retro transactions to ensure timely payroll processing.
• Review CAPAS retro transactions and create on-demand items as required.
• Analyze reports and audits to ensure accurate payroll results.
• Troubleshoot and fix errors in pay-impacting integrations (e.g., UKG).
• Provide responsive service to payroll queries via ServiceNow (Tier 2).
• Process adjustments to balances, earnings, and taxes as directed by Ops Manager or Director.
