Job summary

The Odyssey Preparatory Academy Central Office in Buckeye, AZ is seeking a Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist to consolidate two part-time roles into one key position. You will handle full-cycle payroll using ADP and manage supplier invoices and payments.

The ideal candidate brings strong customer service, collaboration, and a detail-oriented approach to ensure accurate payroll processing, timely vendor payments, and compliance with payroll regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience with ADP payroll processing and bi-weekly payrolls.
• Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Knowledge of general ledger accounts and expense coding.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and Bill.com preferred.
• Attention to detail and confidentiality essential.
• Ability to work with HR and finance teams.
• Familiarity with payroll taxes and 1099 processes.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle accounts payable including vendor invoices and checks.
• Process bi-weekly payroll via ADP and review payroll reports.
• Maintain vendor W9 data and 1099 forms.
• Reconcile accounts payable and assist audits.
• Communicate effectively with staff and vendors.
• Assist with year-end and quarterly tasks.
