Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently, organize, and prioritize concurrent responsibilities.
• Clear verbal and written communication; strong customer service.
• Proficient in MS Word, email, and Windows-based data entry.
• Ability to work under pressure in a healthcare setting.
• Detail-oriented with strong triage and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with scheduling and registration software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all patient appointments related to treatment and referrals.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Update patient and caregiver contact information in the EHR.
• Communicate scheduling needs to providers, therapists, and nurses.
• Prioritize scheduling requests and triage urgent needs.
• Support department functions and assist with training new staff.
• Assist with financial clearance and portal access as needed.
• Handle referrals from physicians and patients with care coordination.
